Holiday activities for children

​​​​​​​​​​​We have many free and inexpensive activities going on in and around the city that will keep the kids busy this school holiday.

From football and squash to soft play and swimming, there are a range of activities available for you and your family to stay active over the holidays.

National Standard Cycle Training courses are held during the school holidays at the Road Safety Centre in Maindy.
The course is open to all Cardiff children aged 9 years and above who own a bike and can ride it. The course runs for 4 mornings or afternoons.

Children’s play sessions are held across Cardiff for children aged 5 to 14 years.

They offer a wide variety of activities that will keep children entertained and engaged. Activities range from sports and physical activities to arts and crafts and brain games. 

Solo and group games and activities are encouraged.
