The most important thing is to get advice as soon as you get into difficulty.
We will:
- Offer you free, independent advice and assistance with any debt and mortgage or rent arrears.
- Represent you at court proceedings for debt and housing issues.
- Help to make sure that you are receiving all the welfare benefits you are entitled to and represent you at benefit tribunals where appropriate.

If you are at risk of becoming homeless you will be allocated a specialist case worker who will try to prevent you from becoming homeless. We will help you if you do lose your home.
Your case worker will assess your situation and create an action plan of how to help you to retain your home.
