You can log into your council tax account online to ask for a refund.
You will need your 8 digit account number. This can be found on your council tax bill.
Please make sure you enter your first name, last name, and postcode exactly how they appear on your bill.
Unfortunately, if your council tax account is in the name of a company or property agent you will not be able to access information through council tax online.
