We Offer National Standard Cycle Training (level 1 and 2) to all Cardiff primary schools.
National Standard level 1
This includes:
- checking your bike and your clothing,
- making sure your helmet fits.
- getting on and off the bike,
- starting and stopping safely,
- controlling your bike, and
- be able to control the bike while signaling and looking back.
Training is carried out in a traffic free environment.
National Standard level 2
Trainees are expected to make judgements and decisions at junctions and roads with traffic whilst turning left and right.
Wearing a cycle helmet is compulsory for all of our cycle training courses.
