Visiting County Hall

County Hall is the main headquarters of Cardiff Council. It is home to many of the Council's departments. The building also includes a Council Chamber and several committee rooms.​

Report to the main reception area and the reception staff will give you a visitors badge and arrange for you to be collected by the member of staff you are visiting.

Identity badges including visitor badges must be worn at all times within the building.

Monday to Friday - Reception is staffed from 8am to 5pm.
Visitor parking and accessible visitor parking is available to the right of the main entrance. The car park is managed by security operatives who will provide directions upon arrival. Visitor parking is limited during office hours. 

Car parking badges must be displa​yed in cars at all times whilst parked in the car park.

It should be noted that the Council welcomes visitors, but in the interests of sustainable travel, we discourage visitors from bringing their vehicles where reasonable public transport alternatives exist.​
The nearest bus stop is immediately outside the main entrance and the nearest train station is Cardiff Bay station on Lloyd George Avenue.

The restaurant is open to both staff and visitors. Access for visitors is via the main entrance and directions are available via the reception staff.
