As rewarding as it can be, being a carer can impact on your home and work life, free time and relationships.
You can request a carers' needs assessment to help you get the support that you need.
We will arrange a screening call to discuss your situation and advise of the waiting times to be assessed. If you would like your assessment to be completed in person, please contact us.
What kind of help and support can I get?
Depending on the outcome of your assessment, we can help you to:
- find support from other services such as health and housing,
- get in touch with groups and organisations that support carers,
- find information and advice such as benefits, income and your rights,
- install a community alarm,
- arrange activities for the person you care for, and
- find services that give you a break, such as respite.
