What we are doing to upgrade our website to improve accessibility and security for customers.

Blue badges for organisations

You can apply for a blue badge if your organisation cares for and transports disabled people who are eligible for a badge. 

If you are an employee of the organisation, you can only use the badge when transporting disabled people. You cannot use it for your own benefit.

When you apply, you will need to provide:

  • The log book for each vehicle you are applying for (also called a DVLA V5),
  • Proof of insurance or vehicle hire agreement, and
  • The vehicle's tax exemption certificate.

Apply online

After your application has been submitted, you will need to send us:

  • The vehicle registration document (V5C) for each vehicle you apply for. The vehicle must be registered to the organisation.
  • A copy of your organisation logo which will be displayed on the badge.
  • A payment of £10 per vehicle you are applying for. Please send this by cheque or postal order with a cover letter. Please make this payable to Cardiff Council.
