Expired blue badge
Find out what to do if you have an expired or expiring blue badge.
Valid blue badge
You will need to return a valid blue badge to us if:
the badge holder has passed away,
the badge holder's medical reasons no longer apply,
the badge holder's Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP) has been removed, or
the badge holder has moved into a care home or residential home and no longer needs it.
