The Council has a Local Transport Plan (LTP) which has been approved by the Welsh Government. The LTP identifies the key transport issues relevant to Cardiff, the improvements which are required to address these issues and a prioritised five-year programme of schemes which outlines the infrastructure schemes to be delivered within each financial year.
The proposed programme outlined in the LTP includes walking and cycling infrastructure, bus network and junction improvements, 20mph limits and road safety schemes.
