Doctor permits help doctors park close to their surgery.
You can apply for a doctor permit if:
- there is a designated doctors bay outside your surgery, and
- your vehicle is insured for business use.
The permit is digital and linked to your vehicle's registration.
You can park in the doctor permit bay in the street named on the permit.
Cost
The cost of the permit depends on your vehicle's emissions.

If the DVLA does not hold the vehicle information, your permit will cost £60.

You will need to provide your vehicle registration and surgery reference number when applying.
If your application is approved, the permit will show as active in your MiPermit account.
