Struggling to pay your rent

If you are struggling to pay your rent, Money Advice can guide you on the best option for you. 

You can contact 029 2087 1071 or complete an enquiry form to get rent advice. 

Struggling to pay your mortgage

If you are a homeowner, you may be able to get help towards interest payments on: 

  • your mortgage, or 
  • loans you have taken out for certain repairs and improvement to your home. 


This help is called Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI). Please note that this is a loan. You will need to pay this back.​​​

Homeless or at risk of becoming homeless

If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless​, you can contact our Housing Options Centre on 029 2057 0715 for help and advice.  ​​​​​
