How much will it cost?
There is a variable fee to pay depending on the number of litres being stored. Should you wish to discuss which fee is applicable before returning your application form, please contact us.
What happens next?
Once the application is received, the site will be subject to an inspection to ensure that those storing and dispensing petrol do so in a safe manner that does not cause risk to the public or the environment.
Inspectors will check the condition of the forecourt, ensuring in particular that there are no leaks and that fire precautions (including suitable equipment) are in place. The site records will be examined to check that the storage tanks are being regularly monitored and that health and safety procedures are being followed.
