Caerphilly Road Parking

The on-street 'Resident Only' parking scheme developed for Caerphilly Road has been put on hold with a view to review the scheme at a later date. As a result of this decision only the lining associated with this parking scheme will be introduced.

The lining includes the following features:

  • Resident Only parking bays marked with white dashed lines.
  • Unrestricted parking bays marked by a buff coloured continuous line.

As we will not be putting up ‘Resident Only’ parking signs on Caerphilly Road, we will not be enforcing resident only parking bays on the road.

You will not need to purchase Parking Permits unless ‘Resident Only’ Parking is implemented in full in the future.

We will send out letters to residents to advise you of any changes, or what to do should the ‘Resident Only’ parking scheme be introduced in the future.

Illegal and obstructive parking

Please be aware that the enforcement of the bus lane, double yellow lines, limited waiting bays, loading bays, disabled person bays and obstructive parking will start with immediate effect. Any reference to the agreement made in 2011 will not be considered as part of any appeal for justifying illegal or obstructive parking.
