Bute Park Education Centre

Located right at the heart of Cardiff, the site is easily accessible, but has all the tranquillity and beauty of a countryside getaway.

With large windows looking out over Cardiff Council's working horticultural nursery, the venue provides an ideal setting for both fun and informative learning, and as a distinct meeting space perfect for stimulating creativity in a relaxing environment where you are close to nature.

The Centre is open to the public everyday 12 - 3pm and there is plenty of information on what you might be able to spot in the park, some interesting displays on the park's history or a map that will help you explore the best the park has to offer.

Pick up a variety of leaflets from the Education Centre; the woodland explorer trail, a Family Tree Trail (for just one pound), a champion tree trail or the Herbaceous Border guide.

Free WiFi and toilets (inc disabled and baby change) are available all year round.  Bike stands and a number of picnic benches, including two looking out over the River Taff are also provided.

Educational Visits

Bute Park is a fantastic place to visit and learn. The Education Centre in the heart of the Park provides an excellent base for a wealth of exciting and engaging curriculum-linked activities.
