The Council is proposing to increase the rent for council homes by 1.5% from April 2021.
Increasing the rent helps to make sure the Council has enough income to provide quality housing services for current and future tenants. It will allow us to invest in the maintenance and improvement of existing homes and neighbourhoods, provide good tenant support services and also build new homes.
