We want to hear your views to help us decide how flood risk is managed over the next 6 years.
We have to review and amend the current flood risk strategy under Section 10 of The Flood and Water Management Act 2010. This makes sure our work is in line with the national strategy.
As the Local Lead Flood Authority, we have to develop, maintain, apply and monitor a strategy for local flood risk management. The strategy must show how we will manage flood risk from a range of sources such as ordinary watercourses, surface runoff, and groundwater.
