Emergency management unit

City Hall

It is very unlikely that any of us will ever be caught up in an emergency or disaster, but by being informed and prepared we can significantly reduce risk to life and property in an emergency.

Emergencies can happen, and when they do, they have the potential to threaten and disrupt the lives of individuals and communities. Cardiff Council is committed to developing a brighter, safer city. In order to reduce the impact of an incident, the Emergency Management Unit co-ordinates the planning and preparation of council resources in order to provide an appropriate response to any emergency.
