We want to improve Canal Park and have engaged with the local community to identify key issues and ambitions for the space.
We have worked with The Urbanists who have used your feedback to develop a draft masterplan for the park. The masterplan will provide a regeneration strategy that shapes the future transformation of the park.
The new ideas for the park include:
- a café with toilets and baby changing rooms
- resurfaced and improved basketball court with new flood lighting
- better lighting throughout the park
- safe and secure play and sports spaces
